Brand Work - Muir Woods

A few weeks ago, I went on a week long trip to the Bay Area in California to do some shooting and exploring with friends. On one of my first days in the area, I got a group together and we went to Muir Woods. It's one of my favorite places in the San Francisco area, and I wanted to get some product work shot in the forest. We explored around for a bit in the fading evening light, and we all shot some of our own personal conceptual work together.

I love Muir Woods so much, and that evening in the forest was just perfect.

I shot some images for an amazing company called Cotopaxi - Gear For Good. They sell amazing outdoor gear and give back to humanity with each and every purchase. Their aim is to make ripples in the outdoor industry, inspire other companies to do more for the world, and construct professional quality products, gear, and clothing. As a brand ambassador for Cotopaxi, it is my responsibility to put out the word about this amazing company, and share some of their beautiful products in my photos.

Pictured on me are:

Sweatshirt: Sambaya Stretch Fleece Sweatshirt in Orange

Backpack: Kilimanjaro - 20L Backpack in Beech Canopy

Bottle: Bangladesh Stainless Steel Insulated Water Bottle

I also shot some images for another awesome company called Krochet Kids International, an incredible non-profit organization I am now partnering with! Their mission is all about empowering the women of Northern Uganda and Peru with the skills, benefits, and knowledge to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.

The result of their model is sustainable and lasting change. They provide jobs and education to the women in those communities, so that they can meet the needs of their families. They provide mentorship to help each woman plan a unique and sustainable career path for the future.

Each item of clothing is made with care and signed by a woman in Northern Uganda or Peru.

On Kelsey: The 5207.5 in Black

On me: LOVE Africa Tee in Black and The 5207.5 in Black

After I returned from the Bay Area, I did some shooting for my sponsor's brand, Vanguard, and their newest line of products, VEO! They sent me an awesome convertible tripod and a sturdy camera shoulder bag to photograph, and I love them so much. All of Vanguard's gear is amazingly durable, as well as stylish--as you can see below. I would definitely recommend checking out their gear if you are in need of some new bags or tripods. Thank you Jay and Camilla (and Sheila) for modeling (and keep an eye out for their personal lifestyle session coming soon!)

I love my Vanguard gear :)

Thanks for reading, and definitely take a look at those brands I listed if you're in the market for some awesome clothing and gear. You'll be glad you did!
