Jessica + Ryan // A Classy Fort Worth Wedding

Jess + Ryan -- Wedding Sneak Peeks-21.jpg

Ryan and Jessica’s Fort Worth wedding day was absolutely one for the books. They crafted their wedding day in the most perfect and beautiful way, and I couldn’t be more honored to have captured it.

When I first asked them how they would describe their wedding day, they said: “Business in the front, party in the back.” And let me tell you, they meant every word.

The day started in the gorgeous Worthington Renaissance Hotel, in downtown Fort Worth. The light that came through the windows was absolutely breathtaking, and I had way too much fun capturing the wedding preparations and anxious bridal party as they primped for the day ahead of them. There were so many gorgeous details to photograph, and with Jess and Ryan both being photographers themselves, they had a keen eye for those details.

The entire day flowed so beautifully, from their traditional ceremony at St Patrick’s Cathedral—where Jess’s long veil graced the long aisle to the nave with splendor—to the cocktail hour where the couple snuck away for a private dinner as a newly married lovers, to the exuberant grand exit full of party streamers drifting like snow in the moonlight. The attention to detail was present throughout the entire day, even down to each the bride and groom having their own cakes to suit their personality and taste (Jessica’s were the three delectable white cakes, and Ryan’s was the cake shaped like an espresso machine!)

The dance party is one I will never forget—I have never seen a couple dance so hard in my entire life; they hardly left the floor for more than 2 minutes the whole night! The phenomenal band, The Spazmatics, fully lived up to their name and kept everybody jumping from start to finish. The lovers even shared a final dance together after all their guests had left the reception, just the two of them reveling in their bliss in an empty ballroom.

I am so grateful to have captured this stunning day for Jess and Ryan, and was so happy to be joined by my fantastic second-shooter Velvet and Ivy Photography (Aubrey Duenas), who killed it in every way.

Thank you Jess and Ryan—we had the BEST time!
