Marika + Ana Paula // Marin Headlands Engagement Session

Oh my goodness. I feel like I start all my blog posts by saying that, but seriously—

oh. my. goodness.

Marika and Ana Paula were an absolute pleasure to photograph. Not only are these two beautiful humans so deeply in love, but there is such a genuineness to their relationship that made me tear up when I looked at them. They have so much fun together, they laugh together, and they are perfect in every way for each other. I fell head over heels for them when I took their engagements.

The Marin Headlands that evening were so foggy, and we were worried we weren’t going to get any color at all. But Mother Nature had other plans for us, and right at the end of our shoot, the clouds parted and revealed a sunset that took our breath away.

Marika was exactly right when she happily declared, “It’s like kismet!”

It really was. In every way.

I can’t wait to photograph these two tying the knot in July. It’s going to be a bash to remember.
